Bashen Corporation’s team is made up of qualified professionals from different backgrounds, perspectives, experiences, and insights, giving us a competitive edge in the industry. Investigators

Bashen’s Technical EEO Staff comprises EEO Investigators, EEO Counselors, and FAD writers, most of whom are full-time employees and licensed attorneys with EEO experience. They are Subject Matter Experts who understand the entire federal process from inception to conclusion, as mandated by MD-110. They also readily adapt to every client’s unique Statement of Work.  The professional staff is trained in Bashen’s business process model, strategic mission, and customer service philosophy. Every investigator has completed 32 hours of EEO Investigator Training. Every EEO Counselor has completed 40 hours of EEO Counselor training.

Mediators

Bashen has full-time mediators in-house and fully vetted independent contractor mediators nationwide. Our mediators are well-versed in the federal process, regulations, policies, and anticipated outcomes. Bashen’s mediators act as impartial agents who encourage parties to develop creative solutions to avoid further escalation.

Bashen Corporation ensures that all mediators have received ADR training in accordance with the guidelines in Management Directive-110 and Title 29 Code of Federal Regulation Part 1614. Our full-time mediators have collectively investigated hundreds of EEO complaints ranging from simple employee relations to potentially complex systemic cases. Their extensive investigative experience greatly enhances their ability to impart pertinent knowledge that is essential to any mediation. Under the Bashen approach, mediators will: 

  • Provide an informal, non-adversarial environment to resolve conflict
  • Facilitate honest and productive communication between disputing parties
  • Assist participants in identifying underlying needs or interests
  • Allow parties to examine the dispute to identify areas of agreement and to encourage understanding of the issues
  • Promote collaboration in the development of mutual, creative resolutions
  • Draft written settlement agreements, when applicable

Trainers

Bashen’s training facilitators work with the client’s HR and EEO personnel to craft a training program that is designed to meet their organization’s specified goals and needs. Our trainers are also EEO investigators, which greatly enhances their ability to impart pertinent knowledge about tolerance and fair employment practices.

Drawing on their experience, facilitators share real-life examples and unique perspectives to illustrate current sexual harassment law and its applications.

Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act of 2009 signed into law by President Barack Obama on January 29, 2009. The case was investigated by Bashen Corporation on behalf of their client Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.

Bashen Corporation releases its EEO Case Management and Tracking software LinkLine, now known by the name Nalikah.

2006

LinkLine, now known by the name Nalikah, Patent awarded for its automated, web-based EEO compliance and case management technology. Bashen Consulting changed name to Bashen Corporation. Ms. Bashen is interviewed by The BusinessMakers radio show.
