Attorney, EEO Investigator, and Final Agency Decision Writer
This position is for energetic, organized attorneys who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy interfacing with colleagues and clients. Producers are off every other Friday and promoted quickly. Our team members enjoy an excellent work/life balance. Our entire staff works remotely from home, so the attorney investigator must be highly self-motivated, professional, independent, and versed in Zoom video conferences.
- Two years-experience investigating federal or private sector complaints; or one year litigation or claims experience; or a demonstrated interest in EEO/fair employment practices laws (e.g., course study or internship with the EEOC or a FEPA).
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree from an accredited university.
- Preference will be given to candidate attorneys experienced in conducting federal agency investigations and drafting Final Agency Decisions.
The Department of Homeland Security must successfully vet all candidates before Bashen can tender a final job offer.
- $60,000 – $70,000 (contingent on related experience)
- Healthcare, medical, and dental/vision (after 60 days)
- Paid PTO (after 90 days)
- Every other Friday off (earned based on production)
- Year-end cash bonus (earned based on production)
- Periodic cash bonuses based on exceptional performance
Full-Time

Communications Coordinator - Intern
As our Communications Coordinator, you get to
- Work with the development and technology department in aligning public relations, company strategies, and communications
- Identify and develop relationships with media personnel, community partners, and agencies to promote our services and events
- Coordinate media requests and follow up, while serving as the secondary media contact as needed
- Write and publish a website, blog, press release, and email newsletter content
- Maintain our organization’s social media accounts, including content creation and curation
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of communications activities
- Assist with other external and internal communications duties as needed
- Coordinate and execute e-mail campaigns, meeting deadlines, following timelines, and ensuring uniformity of content/messaging
- Work and assist on proposals, RFQ
Website Management
- Work with team and subject matter experts to develop relevant, meaningful content and maintain content strategy and web standards
- Work with the team to continuously improve the usability, design, and content of the association’s website
- Monitor and report regularly on website analytics and take corrective action when needed
- Work with the team to troubleshoot problems with the website and respond to user requests and comments
Social Media
- Coordinate and execute social media campaigns and ensure alignment with the overall marketing campaign and association mission
- Manage social media editorial calendar and post valuable, shareable content regularly, ensuring the association is positioned as an industry leader online
- Monitors and reports on social media outreach, including weekly and monthly reporting
- Manage budget for social media efforts and social media management tools

- Pursuing or have completed a bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or PR is preferred
- You can crank out a press release, Facebook update, or newsletter article. You are willing to share your ideas with senior management
- You can collaborate with several teams at once, and you have no problem managing multiple initiatives simultaneously
- You are confident with the office suite, website content management, email marketing, and social media networks
- You are an excellent writer and have experience in social media and graphic design
- You are a team player who is energetic, organized, creative, and self-motivated to join our busy marketing and communications department
- Writes and edits newsletters, emails, and other communications as assigned
- Highly driven and results-oriented
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent customer service required
- Excellent writing skills with an emphasis on writing for the web and social media
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines on time and strong attention to detail

Compensation will be based on experience.
